Each year Pro-Duffers West awards a deserving high school student with a scholarship award. Selection process commences in the fall of each year and is awarded in the following spring of the next year. Applications for the spring of 2009 will be accepted commencing September 2008. The following are the scholarship award student guidelines and application. Specific instructions, contact information and submission information will be available in September 2008.

Scholarship Award Student Guidelines
- Candidates must complete the scholarship award application form by submitting all requested information.
- Students should have an interest in golf and must meet College entrance standards.
- First preference will be given to Student golfers of active Pro Duffers West Golf Club and W.S.G.A. Members. In the event no candidates are submitted from an area Member’s Family, selections may be made from the Local community.
- Candidates in need of financial assistance will be given preference over Students who may have received other scholarship awards and/or Family assistance is sufficient.
- Candidates entering college for the first time will be given preference over students considered as upper class, i.e., 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or even Graduate Students.
- Successful candidates must enroll the fall semester (after selection) as full time students and maintain attendance and academic progress consistent with the college requirements throughout the full year. Two or four year college acceptable.
